About Us

The Law Firm of Davis W. Smith, P.C. was founded in 1994.  We  are dedicated to handling only Personal Injury Cases and have  successfully worked on and Settled over 15,000 Cases.  We are a Local  Law Firm and pride ourselves on being available to our Clients.

Davis W. Smith is a Texas Native who attended Baylor University and  graduated with a Degree in Business.  At Baylor he was a member of Beta  Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor  Fraternity, Winner of the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding  Academic Achievement and numerous other organizations associated with  Academic Excellence.  He attended Texas Tech School of Law and was  Licensed to Practice Law in November of 1994.

Davis W. Smith also served in the United States Marines prior to  attending Baylor and was the subject of two Meritorious Promotions, a  Meritorious Mast and was nominated for the Marine of the Year.  Out of a  four year Enlistment he spent two years at Sea.  He served on the  U.S.S. Lamoure County, U.S.S. Newport Beach and various other Naval  Vessels taking part in Combined Amphibious Naval Operation around the  World.

Davis’s current Hobby is the study of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he has  traveled to Brazil to Compete and Train with the Gracie Family in Rio de  Janeiro on several occasions.  He has achieved Podium Finishes, several  times, in the prestigious U.S. Open in Santa Cruz California.
